How does Skills Connect actually work?
Once an employer loads a job profile and quote request onto the Skills Connect Quote Board, selected and preferred suppliers are able to quote against the Job Request. On acceptance of a quote response, an employer places an Order against the Quote. Candidates are submitted and once selected the Skills Connect Compliance module generates a Time Sheet which is tracked, approved on line, and linked in real time against the quoted price.
How much does it cost to implement and run Skills Connect?
Skills Connect is feature rich which means that we can tailor our service specifically to your business requirements; therefore cost varies dependent on the level of functionality and integration. The costs can be structured on a low annualised license fee or a small weekly transaction fee when an employee is selected for work, which grants access to the system.

No, Skills Connect is not a recruitment company. What type of technology is required to implement Skills Connect?

Will other people in my organisation, the HR department for example, know who we employ?
Yes Skills Connect gives visibility of the employment lifecycle to all who need it. Your HR department will be able to monitor all casual/contractor employees as well as the quotations by each Recruitment Agency.
Can I compare quotes by different criteria, such as position profile and recruitment company?

I'm one of Company X's preferred recruitment suppliers. Will I be able to keep my preferred supplier status to Business using Skills Connect?
Yes Company X has the option to select you as a preferred supplier so that the job requests are only seen by you.
Will my quotation be seen by other Recruitment Companies?
No, only by the Business you prepared the quote for.
I'm a casual employee. Where do I enter my times worked?
By going to www.skillsconnect.com.au and logon with your user id and password. You will see them there on your home page
Can I apply for a job on Skills Connect?
No. Skills Connect is not a Recruitment Agency, however if you register with Skills Connect, your details will be seen by the recruiters you allow access.
What if I forget to complete my time sheet before going home on Friday?
You can access Skills Connect from any internet connection and complete your time sheet, which will then be automatically forwarded to your supervisor.
